Did you see the incident where Jerion was attacked by North Korean hackers yesterday? They reportedly carried out a long-term social engineering attack using AI technology. This part is quite scary because it’s not just a technical attack but one that infiltrates through human relationships.

According to Jerion’s announcement, some team members’ login information and accounts were exposed, and ultimately about $100k was stolen from the company's hot wallet. But the good news is that Jerion stated user assets, the app, and infrastructure were not affected. Jerion also said they took down the web application first.

It seems like an example of how AI is changing cyber threats. Even companies like Jerion are targeted, so ordinary users like us need to be more cautious. What do you think?
