Scott Wu: The founder of Cognition claims to be the strongest IOI teammate
CryptoWorld News reports that Scott Wu, the founder of Cognition, said in an interview with Colossus Magazine that he is the strongest IOI teammate. Cognition is the developer of the AI programming agent Devin. Founded in November 2023, in 18 months its annualized revenue reached $445 million, and its usage has doubled every 8 weeks. It is currently raising funds at an estimated valuation of about $25 billion. Its clients include the U.S. Army, Goldman Sachs, and Mercedes-Benz. Wu is a three-time gold medalist in the International Olympiad in Informatics. His teammates include Alexandr Wang, the founder of Scale AI; Johnny Ho, the co-founder of Perplexity; and Jesse Zhang, the founder of Decagon. The total valuation of the companies founded by these individuals is approximately $80 billion. In the interview, Wu mentioned that over the past two years there have not been major breakthroughs in AI research; what truly drove a surge in usage was large-scale training and a large amount of practical engineering targeting real-world scenarios.
