Spot positions can't be held, and contracts are always at risk of liquidation. To put it simply: first set a fixed "loss I can tolerate," then decide how much to trade, and not the other way around. The dumbest but most effective approach: before entering each trade, think clearly about the worst-case loss, accept it when it happens, and don't rely on faith to add positions to survive. Especially with contracts, leverage isn't meant to help you earn faster; it's meant to make you die faster... I'm not regretful about the outcome, but about always thinking "this time is different" and treating risk control as air. Recently, discussions about rate cuts and the dollar index have resurfaced, and when risk assets go up and down together, it's easier to get carried away. Keep your position smaller, at least you can sleep. That's all for now.
