According to reports, Google’s parent company Alphabet plans to issue Japanese yen bonds for the first time, potentially providing further funding for artificial intelligence-related investments. The reports state that Alphabet is expanding its sources of financing, having previously raised this year’s capital expenditure forecast from $185 billion to as much as $190 billion.
