On May 11th, it was reported that Qianwen has fully integrated with Taobao, launching a new AI shopping experience. Users open the Qianwen App, chat with AI, and can complete product selection, comparison, and purchase on Taobao; open the Taobao App, click on “Qianwen AI Shopping Assistant,” and you can shop with AI, as well as use features like AI try-on, AI discount calculation, and AI price sniping. This marks the first deep integration of a globally large-scale e-commerce platform with top-tier large model applications. Alibaba has taken the lead in the industry to connect the entire AI shopping chain, achieving the first full-process closed loop from product recommendation to order placement, fulfillment, and after-sales service, representing an important step for Alibaba’s AI-powered e-commerce.
