Lately, I've been noticing that on-chain data always "lags" a bit—not necessarily because of my poor internet (well, maybe), but more often because the indexer/Subgraph/RPC is gasping for air behind the scenes. To put it simply, what you're seeing isn't the real-time heartbeat of the blockchain, but a cache "someone is helping you copy homework" layer: the indexer needs to scan the chain, build tables, synchronize, and when there's chain reorganization or a sudden surge of people querying the same pool, it will be a bit slow; RPC also enforces rate limiting, and if you refresh aggressively, you'll get a 429 directly, as a reminder: don't treat me as an unlimited water supply.

Recently, during the testnet incentive and points wave, it was even more obvious—everyone was harvesting while watching the dashboard, asking "Will the mainnet issue tokens," and ended up overwhelming the queries, with data delays feeling like poetic pauses... I’ve now become a bit more Zen, just waiting a few seconds for key operations, and not getting anxious over that one number, letting my mood slide along with the lag.
