LayerZero Apologizes for 1/1 DVN Setup After $292M Kelp Hack

LayerZero apologized for allowing its own DVN to secure high-value transfers in a 1/1 setup tied to the April 18 exploit that drained about $292 million from Kelp DAO’s rsETH bridge. LayerZero said Lazarus Group compromised internal RPC nodes while an external RPC provider faced a DDoS attack, and it said the underlying protocol was not affected. LayerZero said its Labs DVN no longer services 1/1 configurations and that default pathways are being migrated to 5/5 where possible.
