Blackstone and Halliburton invest $1 billion in VoltaGrid, valuation exceeds $10 billion

Techub News reports that, according to CryptoBriefing, Blackstone and Halliburton are investing $1 billion in Houston-based energy startup VoltaGrid, with a post-investment valuation exceeding $10 billion.
The funds will be used to expand off-grid power solutions for data centers and acquire supply chain company Propell Energy Technology.
This deal includes $775 million in primary capital and $225 million in secondary share purchases.
VoltaGrid focuses on deploying modular on-site power generation systems to meet the surging electricity demand of AI data centers, which is expected to double in the United States before 2030.
The transaction is expected to close by mid-2026.
