Just saw this security alert - Wasabi Protocol got hit with a $2.9M attack about 10 days ago. Pretty wild timing honestly. So apparently the deployer wallet for the wasabi wallet got compromised, and whoever had access just granted themselves admin roles to drain funds. The stolen funds are now spread across three different addresses, which is the typical move to make tracking harder. What's sketchy is how easily the attacker got privileged access - either the deployer's private keys got leaked or there was some social engineering involved. Either way, it raises questions about how wasabi wallet's security setup was managed. The funds are still out there somewhere, and I'm curious if there's any recovery attempt happening or if this is just a total loss situation. You guys think this kind of thing happens more often than we hear about?
