$LITE has already surpassed the $1000 mark. Are you still standing on the sidelines watching?
I usually don't try to catch the bottom or top in small waves, but in terms of the big trend, most of the “optical” group stocks I follow are moving in the expected direction.
Therefore, every time I see the short side jumping into names like $AAOI or $SIVE, I can only laugh.
In a cycle where capital is prioritizing optical infrastructure, data centers, and AI, stubbornly short-selling stocks with fundamental advantages directly benefiting from this trend is clearly a risky choice.
The market may fluctuate, short-term corrections are normal. But as long as the big story remains — increasing bandwidth demand, hyperscalers expanding infrastructure, AI requiring high-speed connectivity — the medium-term trend still favors the buyers.
Shorting in a market with strong momentum usually yields very short-term profits and requires extremely precise timing.
If we look at the bigger structure, many stocks in this group are still being revalued at a new level.
Finally, the market does not reward those who try to prove they are right — but rewards those who follow the trend correctly.
