Real trading record of a 20-year veteran's path to recover funds (26-05-11)

Goal: 8B in May [Taogu Bar]

Date: 05-11
Stock Market Weather: Shanghai Composite (1.08%) CSI 2000 (1.14%) rose 3,121, fell 2,239
Today’s profit and loss: 0.65%

Today’s operations

  1. Last night, I queued up Huiv Green Ecology, Aerospace Science and Technology, Ronglian Technology, and Daan Gene. All bids were below expectations, so I canceled all orders and waited for opportunities after the market opened.

  2. After the bidding ended, Huiv Green Ecology, Daan Gene, Aerospace Science and Technology, Ruihu Mould, and Ronglian Technology opened 1-5 points higher, all fitting Mode B. Today, CSI 2000 opened high, slightly stronger than the Shanghai Composite Index. If the two don’t diverge much, I can only participate with a small position.

  3. As usual, I fed today’s one-word board to AI, which recommended Ronglian Technology, China Software, and Tailong Pharmaceutical. Ronglian Technology surged at the open because AI recommended it and it was among the alternatives. I didn’t wait until 9:35 and took action early, buying at today’s highest point—another same mistake.

  4. After the open, I didn’t find any stocks hitting the second limit, so I waited until 9:35. The best performer was Ruihu Mould, so I bought in one click, but it failed to rise after several attempts. Later, when Aerospace Science and Technology outperformed Ruihu, I bought some again, but it also didn’t work. When Daan Gene started rising, I didn’t dare to buy anymore—by then, I had already bought three of the five alternatives, so I gave up. Unexpectedly, only Daan hit the afternoon limit-up today. Too bad.

  5. I hold three stocks. Seeing the market open high today, with the A-shares liking to open high and then fall, I prepared to sell all stocks that didn’t hit the limit yesterday during the bidding, but three Fu later hit the board, and I missed the sale. Tefa Information’s order was one second late, so I had to cancel and wait for the open to handle it. But the market plunged at the open, so I had to clear it before hitting zero. JuLun Intelligent, the first robot to hit the board yesterday, performed poorly today; by close, it hadn’t risen, so I sold it at the end of the day. I also sold the Kechuang 50 ETF at the open, but it surged to 5 points afterward, and I missed the sale. Today, I didn’t sell any stocks well, feeling a bit off.

  6. The market has risen for four consecutive days, with over 100 stocks hitting the daily limit each day. The A-shares are thriving, but for someone like me doing one-in-two-out, it’s basically hell mode. Every day, 70-80 first-limit stocks, researching them makes my head explode. I hope the market pulls back soon.

Trading Mode and Experience Summary
-------------Stock Selection-------------

  1. Every night, select 5 first-limit stocks for the backup pool, combining market, sector, hot spots, and stock pattern analysis. Choose the strongest, not the weakest, only the top sector or new sector (only first-limit). Prefer stocks in the same sector and same rank that have performance, restructuring concepts, or multiple strong concepts; avoid stocks with too good performance, as they likely contain junk (02-10).
  2. If no suitable first-limit stocks are available that day, do not trade. Stocks without sector support are to be passed (01-08).
  3. Don’t rush stock selection during holidays; wait until the last night, considering all news developments before choosing (02-10).
    -------------Opening Positions-------------
  4. Only do one-in-two-out, selecting the strongest from the backup pool, mainly trading one-word bids; if unable to buy, prefer to stay in cash (04-24).
  5. During the main rise period, prioritize one-word limit-up stocks; during chaotic periods, can give up one-word limit-up stocks to chase breakout opportunities in turnover stocks (12-27).
  6. Cancel all bids with total bid volume below 100 million before 9:20:00 during bidding (05-30).
  7. When CSI 2000 turns red and is stronger than the Shanghai Composite, and the stock’s sector has no limit-up or only one-word limit-up (09-04):
    a. Backup stocks open 6-9 points higher + successfully hit the board before 10 points → buy on breakout.
    b. Backup stocks open 1-5 points higher + price stops falling and rebounds, breaking intraday high → buy immediately on breakout.
  8. Bid volume arbitrage mode: based on the first bid of one-word limit-up, find the most related one-in-two target; buy during the bidding, sell the next day during the bidding (02-27).
  9. Use half-position rolling operations to reduce risk (01-03).
  10. Do not trade stocks with 20CM (20 consecutive limit-ups) (03-07).
  11. Only do night trading if the success rate of one-word limit-up stocks exceeds 80% (06-20).
  12. Don’t be afraid or float; buy if the pattern fits, wait for the next opportunity if missed. The stock market offers many opportunities; patience is key (12-12).
    -------------Holding Stocks-------------
  13. All stocks hitting the limit-up should have order warnings; if the order reduces by more than half, sell immediately (12-25).
  14. Stocks that hit the limit and break during yesterday’s limit-up should be sold at the opening if bid volume drops more than 2 points (12-27).
  15. For stocks that didn’t hit the limit yesterday, observe whether the bidding trend weakens or strengthens; if weakening, sell at the open; if strengthening, hold along the moving average (12-27).
  16. Stocks that successfully hit the limit multiple times (not third-party stocks) can be held until the end of the day bidding; if unable to hit the limit, sell at the limit-down price (12-27).
    -------------Other-------------
  17. After a big loss, don’t get emotional; the road is long. Stay calm, earn back gradually according to the plan (12-03).
  18. Review lessons before each market open; in 2025, focus on practicing, continuously optimize stock selection, and strive to improve success rate (12-31).
