Recently, U.S. Middle East strategy has been attracting attention. According to recent reports, the U.S. Central Command has requested the Army to deploy the hypersonic missile "Dark Eagle" to the Middle East in preparation for a potential crisis with Iran. It seems aimed at countering ballistic missile launchers deep within Iranian territory, which cannot be addressed by existing precision attack missiles.

What’s interesting is the background behind this decision. The existing missile systems lack the range to reach Iran’s major launchers, creating a tactical challenge. That’s likely why the need for longer-range, faster hypersonic missiles has emerged.

As geopolitical tensions rise, deploying such advanced missile technology could significantly impact the military balance in the Middle East. If next-generation weapons like hypersonic missiles are actually deployed, the regional conflict dynamics might also change. The future development of U.S. defense strategies is something to watch closely.
