Mars Finance reports that, according to the Arc white paper released by Circle, the Arc mainnet is expected to go live in summer 2026. The testnet was launched in October 2025, and as of May 5, 2026, it has processed a total of 244.1 million transactions. Arc is positioned as an institutional-focused public Layer1 blockchain, compatible with EVM, with native integration of USDC. It supports sub-second deterministic settlement, stablecoin-denominated gas fees, and configurable privacy features. Cross-chain transfers are completed via Circle CCTP. The white paper also discloses that Arc’s native token, ARC, has an initial supply of 10 billion tokens, of which 60% is allocated to ecosystem development, 25% is attributable to Circle, and 15% is set aside as long-term reserves.
