just saw that Plasma, this new Layer 1 blockchain focused on stablecoins, is building out their team with some serious hires. they brought in Murat Firart from BiLira as Head of Product - the guy actually founded that Turkish stablecoin exchange, so he knows what he's doing. then there's Adam Jacobs who was at FTX and more recently worked with Nuvei on payments stuff, now heading up Global Payments. plus Usmann Khan from ImmuneFi (ranked pretty high on their bug bounty platform) is their Head of Protocol Security. so basically they're getting people who actually understand stablecoins, payments infrastructure, and security. Adam Jacobs bringing that fintech background from Nuvei should be interesting for how they approach the payments side. still no mainnet launch date announced though, so we're probably waiting a bit longer to see this thing actually go live.
