just saw that Doodles has a new CEO now - Scott Martin taking over from Julian Holguin. pretty interesting move tbh. the new Doodles CEO is apparently known as Burnt Toast and he's an artist himself, so at least there's that creative angle. he's talking about pushing toward more risk and authenticity, which sounds like a different direction from what Holguin was doing with all those brand deals (Adidas, McDonald's and all that). Pharrell's staying on as brand officer though, so they're keeping some continuity. curious what this means for the project - feels like Doodles is trying to recalibrate after all the corporate partnerships. the new Doodles CEO already posted that big news is coming, so guess we'll find out soon what the vision actually looks like. anyone else following this or is it just me?
