CryptoWorld news: Bitcoin mining company Iren announced plans to issue $2 billion of convertible preferred notes due in 2033. The proceeds will be used for data center expansion, the construction of artificial intelligence and high-performance computing infrastructure, repayment of debt, and general corporate purposes. Iren said the issuance targets qualified institutional buyers, and it plans to grant initial purchasers an additional $300 million oversubscription option.
