U.S. Existing Home Sales Increase by 0.2%, Below Expectations

The National Association of Realtors (NAR) announced that U.S. existing home sales in April increased by 0.2% month-over-month, compared to a market expectation of 2% growth, with the previous value declining by 3.6%.

On an annualized basis, sales in April were 4.02 million units, compared to a market expectation of 4.05 million units, with the previous figure revised upward from 3.98 million to 4.01 million units.
