Just noticed crypto taking another hit today. Oil prices spiking hard and that's dragging everything down with it. When macro gets jittery like this, the whole market feels it. Crypto spike in volatility usually means liquidations are happening across derivatives - I've been watching the liquidation feeds and yeah, it's pretty ugly right now. The correlation with traditional markets is getting tighter, which honestly I hate to see. A crypto spike in oil prices shouldn't matter this much for digital assets, but here we are. Everyone's unwinding their leveraged positions and it's creating this cascade effect. Not the best time to be holding heavy bags if you're overleveraged. This macro environment is making even the most bullish traders nervous. Might be a good buying opportunity for some, but the timing is rough with all these external pressures.
