Just saw some data that's pretty eye-opening — more than half of all crypto tokens that exist have basically failed at this point. And the wild part? Most of those deaths happened in 2025. Makes you think about how brutal the market selection really is. For every project that actually builds something real, there's a graveyard of tokens that either got rugged, lost momentum, or just turned out to be vaporware. It's one of those things that sounds shocking until you actually think about it — when there's almost zero barrier to entry for launching a token, you're gonna get a ton of garbage mixed in with the legitimate stuff. The ones that survive usually have actual utility, real teams behind them, or genuine community backing. Everything else just fades away. Kinda makes you appreciate the projects that actually stick around and keep shipping. Anyway, worth keeping this in mind when you're looking at what to pay attention to in this space.
