I recently came to understand a piece of human wisdom: Don’t try to grab the wind all at once, first tie the hot air balloon’s rope securely.

You can’t hold onto spot trading easily, mostly because your position is too large, afraid of retracement when it rises a bit, panicking and cutting when it drops a bit;
Futures liquidation is even simpler, leverage gets you hyped up, and before the trend is confirmed, you’re blown away first.
My approach is simple: only take a small portion you can sleep soundly with at a time, leave the rest to wait for “that one” to break out before adding more, and if wrong, admit it and withdraw.
Now with new L1/L2 projects pushing incentives to boost TVL, it’s normal for everyone to complain about mining, yield farming, and selling; honestly, everyone wants to ride the wave when the wind blows, but don’t treat yourself as fuel.
Stay alive first, only then qualify to wait for the next gust of wind.
