I noticed an interesting situation on Aave – the main markets simultaneously reached 100% utilization. This is something I’ve never seen before. Being at such a high level even during specific time frames like 04:44 indicates a serious liquidity warning.
The problem is that reaching 100% means no new liquidity can be added anymore. The balance between borrowers and lenders in the market is completely disrupted. On one side, lenders can no longer withdraw their funds, and on the other side, borrowers are unable to complete their transactions.
Such sudden squeezes are usually signs of market stress. Especially when multiple markets hit this level at the same time, it indicates a potential systemic issue. Protocol users need to monitor this situation closely.
