An interesting thing I've been observing: crypto derivatives are no longer just the domain of specialized exchanges. Wall Street has practically taken over the space, and honestly, stock perpetuals could be the next big breaking point.

The curious thing is how all of this has transformed the media landscape. Years ago, traditional media saw cryptocurrencies as something marginal. Now? Well, that faded conventional media is being absorbed by the crypto narrative. Those covering this industry have to be at the intersection of everything: traditional finance, blockchain technology, regulation, institutional markets.

And here’s the plot twist: platforms that co-produce content and financial services are in a unique position. They not only report on what happens but actively participate in the market infrastructure. It’s an interesting conflict, but it also reflects how this ecosystem works now.

The fusion between crypto and Wall Street is real. Stock perpetuals are just the most visible symptom. What’s really happening is that the boundaries between pure crypto speculation and traditional financial markets are being completely blurred. And the media? They are evolving with all of this, for better or for worse.
