Interesting warnings are coming from Wall Street insiders. While machines execute trades at the speed of light, human-built market systems are struggling to keep up with that pace.

Upon reflection, this points to a fundamentally critical issue. Major platforms providing market infrastructure and information services, as well as the structural design of institutional digital asset markets, have all been built primarily around human speeds. However, in actual trading floors, algorithms are operating at speeds far surpassing human reaction times.

Ultimately, even if markets try to catch up with machine speeds, human judgment and market transparency inevitably fall behind in the process. Regulators and infrastructure providers are now faced with the challenge of how to address this asymmetry.

This structural distortion in markets is especially pronounced in highly volatile asset classes. Going forward, it will be worth watching how market participants bridge this gap or develop new mechanisms.
