Just been thinking about something - if Bitcoin ever dropped back to $40K, that would actually be pretty wild from a statistical standpoint. Like, we're talking genuinely rare territory here, not just a normal pullback.
I looked at some of the numbers and honestly, the coin bears would probably lose their minds if we saw that kind of level. We're so far above that now (BTC sitting around $81K at the moment) that going back there would represent a massive shift in how the market's pricing things. The odds of that happening would be genuinely unusual given where we've been.
Makes you wonder what kind of scenario would actually push things that far down. Major regulatory crackdown? Macro collapse? It's not impossible, but statistically speaking, the coin bears would need some pretty extreme conditions to make that happen. Interesting to keep in mind though - sometimes these outlier scenarios are worth thinking about just to understand the risk profile.
