Just saw this wild story about Revolut having a massive glitch with Bitcoin prices yesterday. Users were seeing BTC drop to absolutely insane levels - we're talking like 2 cent prices and other crazy lows on the app before it snapped back. Some people's charts showed it hitting around £29,414 before recovering to £58,600. Meanwhile on actual exchanges it was trading normally around $79,000+. The craziest part is whether anyone actually managed to fill buy orders at those ghost prices. Revolut eventually admitted it was a third-party provider issue that caused inaccurate pricing, but they haven't really explained if any trades actually went through at those levels. Apparently this kind of thing happens sometimes when an app has thin liquidity and a big order hits at the wrong time, or it could just be a display error. Either way pretty sketchy that there's no confirmation on whether people got filled at 2 cents or if it was just a visual glitch. Has anyone here actually experienced something like this on a trading app?
