Kalshi has just completed a funding round of 1 billion dollars – the valuation is now at 22 billion dollars. Crazy how quickly prediction markets are taking off right now. That’s really impressive when you consider where the platform was just a few years ago.
The entire sector is booming massively right now. You see new prediction platforms everywhere, and the established players are gaining real momentum. A funding of 1 billion dollars simply shows that investors believe in this market.
I find it interesting how this trend runs parallel to the crypto market. Kalshi is positioning itself very cleverly there. Whether this will hold long-term or if it’s just a hype cycle remains to be seen. But for now, it looks impressive when a platform is equipped with 1 billion in fresh capital.
