So I was looking back at bitcoin's price action from last year, and man, August 2025 was brutal. Like, we had this solid summer rally going, and then August just wiped it all out. Bitcoin price in August basically gave back everything we'd gained over the previous months. Pretty wild swing.
I remember a lot of people were wondering what would happen next heading into September. There was this weird vibe where everyone was trying to figure out if we'd bounce back or if there was more downside coming. The August crash kind of reset everyone's expectations.
Looking back now, that August period was actually pretty important for setting the tone for the rest of the year. It's one of those moments where bitcoin price movements really shake out the weak hands and make people reassess their positions. Anyway, just something I was thinking about when reviewing the charts from that time.
