Just saw that South Korea's biggest digital bank is ditching SWIFT for Ripple to handle cross-border transfers. Honestly didn't expect traditional banking to move this fast on blockchain tech, but I guess when you're dealing with international payments, the speed difference is just too hard to ignore. The whole point is supposed to be way faster settlement times compared to the old system. Interesting to see legacy finance actually adopting this stuff instead of just talking about it. Wonder if other major banks start following suit once they see it working.
