Just realized Bitcoin's already halfway through this halving cycle and honestly the price gains so far don't look as impressive compared to what we saw before. Like, in previous cycles around this point, we'd usually see way more momentum building up. This time it feels more muted. Makes me wonder if the market's just more mature now or if there's something else going on. I've been comparing it to how other assets like Litecoin behaved during their own halvings too, and there's definitely a pattern shift. The infrastructure's way better now with all the institutional players involved, but that might actually be dampening the volatility we used to see. Curious to see if this changes in the second half of the cycle or if we're just in a new era of more steady price action.
