Techub News reports that Circle announced the launch of Circle Agent Stack, an open, chain-agnostic infrastructure for the agent economy, including five core components: Agent Wallets, Agent Marketplace, and Circle CLI. It aims to enable AI agents to hold USDC funds and execute programmatic trades. This infrastructure addresses the current lack of a native financial layer for AI agents. Data shows that the emerging payment protocol x402 has processed over $24 million in transactions in the past 30 days, with 99.8% settled in USDC. Agent Wallets support human-defined strategy controls, including features like time-based limits on spending and allowlists.
