I saw an interesting fact from a survey among major institutional investors in Japan: almost 80% of them are planning to jump into crypto investments in the next 3 years. Basically, one out of two is already convinced to enter the sector. It's not a joke considering how cautious Japan has been with cryptocurrencies in the past. I wonder if this change of course depends on the fact that institutions are finally understanding the market, or if they simply see cryptocurrencies as an inevitable diversification tool. The data is quite remarkable: if indeed many Japanese institutional players move toward crypto investments, it could be a game changer for the local market. Anyway, it's interesting to note how even the more conservative markets are starting to consider cryptocurrencies as a legitimate asset class.
