I just saw something that made me think. The anonymous creator of Bitcoin, Satoshi Nakamoto, is practically already the tenth richest person in the world, and the crazy part is that he has never touched a single bitcoin from his fortune.

Think about it: if Satoshi has around 1.1 million bitcoins (which is estimated to have been mined in the early days of the network), with Bitcoin's current price hovering around $80.97K, we're talking about a fortune exceeding $138 billion. That places him right on the edge of the top 10 wealthiest people on the planet, above people like Michael Dell or the heirs of Walmart.

The fascinating thing is that Satoshi's wallet has been completely untouched since 2010. Not a single movement in 16 years. Zero transactions. This has sparked all kinds of theories: Is he dead? Did he disappear? Or did he simply decide not to interfere anymore with what he created? No one knows.

Unlike other billionaires who built companies, sought venture capital, or went public, Satoshi simply launched Bitcoin into the world quietly. And look what happened: a network valued at over $2.4 trillion today.

Bitcoin has been reaching all-time highs lately, driven by institutional capital inflows and ETFs. The price recently broke the $126K , which means Satoshi's theoretical fortune continues to grow. Although, of course, it's all speculation because technically those bitcoins have never been sold or verified as accessible.

It's incredible to think about how many bitcoins Satoshi Nakamoto has and how that amount, untouched, has become one of the greatest fortunes in the world. Since his last public message in 2011, the ecosystem has evolved in ways he probably never imagined.
