An interesting observation from the crypto community. Mike Novogratz from Galaxy Digital recently commented on quantum computers and their impact on Bitcoin security. His stance is quite optimistic — he doesn't see a serious threat to the network from quantum technologies.

This is a rather bold statement, considering the buzz surrounding quantum computing in recent years. Many experts discuss when exactly quantum computers will become powerful enough to break the cryptography that Bitcoin is built on.

But Novogratz seems to believe that either this threat is overestimated, or the community will have time to adapt before it becomes a real problem. The logic is clear — Bitcoin is evolving, the protocol can be upgraded, cryptography can be strengthened.

Overall, it's interesting to observe how different insiders assess long-term risks for crypto. Some panic, others stay calm. Novogratz's position is more along the lines of 'no need to worry unnecessarily, there is time to address it.'
