Been hearing a lot of chatter about whether we're actually entering a real bull market cycle or just another pump that'll fizzle out. An analyst I came across recently made a pretty solid case that this time might actually have legs.
The main drivers seem to be two things converging right now. First, there's the policy side - Trump's been making some pretty crypto-friendly moves, and that's changing the regulatory landscape in ways we haven't seen before. When you have that kind of political tailwind, it usually signals something bigger is shifting at the institutional level.
Which brings me to the second point - institutional adoption. This isn't just retail FOMO anymore. We're seeing real money flowing in from the traditional finance side, and that's a totally different ballgame compared to previous cycles. Institutions don't jump in and out on a whim.
So when people ask me when the crypto bull market is actually going to kick into high gear, I think the answer is probably already happening. The question isn't really when it starts - it's more about whether you're already positioned or you're waiting for the pullback that might not come. The combination of policy support and institutional capital flowing in? That's the kind of setup that tends to sustain longer than people expect.
Obviously nothing's guaranteed in crypto, but the fundamentals for a sustained rally are definitely lining up differently this time around.
