Talking about CoinDesk—it’s really complicated. They say they received journalistic awards and also have an editorial policy, but in the end, they belong to the parent company, Builici, and employees receive stock-based compensation. Can this truly guarantee editorial independence? Especially when covering major figures in the crypto industry. There are also sensitive issues like controversies involving the founder of Tron, and isn’t it true that the possibility of conflicts of interest can’t be completely ruled out? It’s good that the media outlet discloses things transparently, but at this level, it’s unclear how readers should judge the credibility of the information. I’m also curious how the crypto community thinks about this kind of structure; it seems sufficiently transparent, but somehow it still leaves me with an uneasy feeling.
