Just caught something interesting - Bhutan has apparently offloaded 70% of its bitcoin stash over the past year and a half. That's a pretty significant move from a country that was actually making headlines for getting into bitcoin mining not too long ago. Seems like they might have wrapped up their mining operations too, which is a pretty sharp pivot. Makes you wonder what changed their strategy, especially given how much attention their bitcoin mining efforts got when they started. Anyway, it's one of those stories that reminds you how different players in the crypto space have totally different timelines and exit strategies. Some governments were betting big on accumulating BTC, others apparently decided the timing was right to cash out.
