Just found out there's this old Bitcoin faucet from way back in 2010 that's supposedly making a comeback. You know, those sites that used to give you tiny amounts of free Bitcoin just for clicking? Kinda wild that people are still talking about it now.
So apparently CoinDesk (the crypto news outlet) is covering this whole free Bitcoin faucet revival thing. They're part of Bullish, which is this digital asset platform that went public. The whole disclosure thing around who owns what in crypto media is actually pretty interesting when you dig into it - like how these outlets have to balance being independent while also being owned by companies that have their own crypto interests.
Makes you wonder if the free Bitcoin faucet concept could actually work again in 2026, or if it's just nostalgia at this point. The original faucet idea was pretty clever for getting people into Bitcoin back then. Anyway, seems like there's more coverage coming on this if you're into the history of how people first got into crypto.
