So apparently there's this Bitcoin faucet from way back in 2010 that's actually coming back? Like, remember when those free bitcoin faucet sites were everywhere and you could actually earn something by clicking? Yeah, those were wild times.
This is kind of interesting because most of those old free bitcoin faucet projects just died out or turned into scams. But this one seems legit enough to be making a comeback now. I'm curious what made them think now's the time to revive it - maybe they're banking on newer people who weren't around in 2010 and don't know what a free bitcoin faucet even is?
The whole thing feels nostalgic but also a bit risky? Like, the crypto space has changed so much since then. Back in 2010, a free bitcoin faucet was actually useful because Bitcoin was cheap and people were just experimenting. Now? I'm not sure how many people would bother, but I guess if it's truly free with no strings attached, why not.
Anyone else remember messing with these back in the day? Or is this news to most people now?
