Techub News reports that, according to CryptoBriefing, Germany’s Federal Criminal Police Office (BKA) and the Central Office for Cybercrime (ZIT) arrested a 35-year-old Crimenetwork administrator on the island of Mallorca, Spain. The police accused him of operating a revived dark web marketplace and seized approximately 194,000 euros in illegal assets and transaction data. Crimenetwork is a major dark web marketplace in the German-speaking region, which was shut down at the end of 2024 and then revived, accumulating 22,000 users and 3.6 million euros in revenue. The platform offers illegal drug transactions and uses Bitcoin for settlements. It is reported that the original operator was sentenced to 7 years and 10 months in prison in March 2026.
