Recently, everyone has been hyping up AI Agents for one-stop automatic on-chain processes.
I'm a bit tempted, but more afraid of a "confusing mess."
To put it plainly, the most critical aspects of on-chain interactions that need human oversight are: where the money comes from, where it goes, and who has the permissions.
No matter how smart an Agent is, it might treat a contract that "looks like routing/aggregation" as a normal entry point, and once authorization is granted, it could lead to an endless pit.
And then there's the signature step, especially with unlimited permissions, upgrading proxy contracts, cross-chain bridges—once you click, there's basically no turning back.
My current habit is: Agents can help me run queries, compare prices, calculate gas, and monitor addresses, but when it comes to moving funds in the treasury, I at least need to review the recipient address, contract source, and what this operation represents in cash flow (expenditure/investment/expenses).
Otherwise, reconciling at the end of the month will drive me crazy.
By the way, recently there's been quite a heated debate about privacy coins/mixing compliance.
If an Agent "automatically helps you with privacy protection" and conveniently routes through mixing paths, the on-chain traces are clean, but the ledger and compliance risks might be even dirtier...
Anyway, I prefer to take it slow, look twice, and not outsource responsibility to the model.
