I tried once, holding onto a single NFT's floor price and not getting it back, and the reason was pretty romantic: just wait a bit longer, the emotions will come back... But the more I waited, the more it felt like a breakup tug-of-war, with fees, time costs, and emotional interest all increasing. Basically, it was just refusing to admit defeat.

Later, I forced myself to cut it off, and it became easier. Only when liquidity returned to my hands did I qualify for the next chance to scoop up a bargain.

Recently, watching the blockchain game scene collapse similarly, once inflation opens up and studios enter, the token prices drop and spiral downward. Who's going to give you a "recouped love"?
My current principle is: don't tell yourself fairy tales, cut losses when wrong, and don't let small losses turn into big problems.
