SUI surges 26% in one day! Is the copycat season really back?
While BTC is still bouncing around near $82,000, SUI has already started to "take off in place."
A single-day increase of over 26% directly ignited market sentiment. Many people instantly got excited: "Copycat season is back!"
The most amazing thing in the crypto world is that everyone always maintains a first-love-like expectation for "copycat season." Even if they were just trapped yesterday, today as soon as they see a big bullish candle, they immediately start fantasizing about financial freedom.
And this time, SUI's rise essentially reflects an important signal: market risk appetite is recovering.
Funds are no longer satisfied with BTC's "steady rise" and are turning to look for higher-volatility targets. Simply put: "BTC is too stable, I want to bet on something more exciting."
So, funds are starting to rotate back into small and mid-cap tokens.
This is also why many small coins that have been dormant for a long time suddenly start to move. Because when market sentiment warms up, the first to explode are often not the industry leaders, but those projects with small circulating supply and easy to manipulate.
But the question is: has the copycat season truly fully started?
Currently, it doesn't seem to be the case.
A true copycat season has a typical feature: BTC consolidates sideways, and altcoins generally rise together. But now, many altcoins are rising mainly because of BTC sentiment. Once BTC pulls back, small-cap tokens are likely to turn into a "free fall contest" in an instant.
More importantly, market liquidity now is far less than in 2021. Back then, even air coins could multiply tenfold, but now capital is clearly more cautious.
So, the current market looks more like a "local altcoin boom" rather than a full-blown bull market.
But interestingly, market sentiment has already started to change noticeably. In the past, everyone only dared to buy BTC; now some are re-examining "small meme projects."
Whenever the crypto world starts seriously researching "which MEME is more culturally significant," you know—market risk appetite has returned. #比特币波动
