Iran Rejects U.S. Proposal, Demands Sanctions Relief and War Reparations
Iran reportedly rejected a U.S. proposal and submitted a counter-offer, according to Iranian media reports. The counter-offer calls for a full lifting of sanctions and the unfreezing of Iranian funds and assets. Iranian media said Tehran also wants war reparations and recognition of Iranian sovereignty over the Strait of Hormuz.
