The Clarity Act and its consequences for the market.
In the past month, there has been active promotion of discussions about this law to the masses. On one hand, this law carries a very strict regulatory message, but on the other hand, it is the last law that needs to be passed regarding the crypto market. After the Genius Act, accordingly.
How this law will affect growth or decline is unclear. But one thing we see for sure is that the market is in deep trouble. All the news agendas that have been voiced so far have not affected it. But that doesn’t mean that, in theory, the market won’t eventually work through all that positive background in the future. How is this done? Simply put. If there is a task to manipulate the market and justify growth, past news is perfect for that. Through not-so-clever manipulations, the crowd will be told that the upcoming growth is a consequence of all the previous amendments, including the Clarity Act.
Since this market is very easy to manipulate because it has virtually no liquidity at all, it’s noticeable that the market is standing still, with no news of mass liquidations, as was the case before, and no movements either.
Killing such a market makes no sense either. It is completely under the control of those who own it. For example, you can look at the stock market—+1 trillion or -1 trillion, the guys don’t really care. It’s very easy to move such a large amount of capital and make money on it. If the stock market is so easy to manipulate and move, considering its size, then what can we say about the crypto market? That’s right, it’s the same.
I understand, this text is more for logical reflection and comparison. In the short term, it won’t morally help you at all. But you should extend your planning horizon at least a few months ahead. In that case, the picture becomes clearer. Namely, that a lot of money isn’t needed to manipulate this market—real money.
It’s like a plant that has been in the sun for a long time, trying to avoid drying out, and then it starts being watered abundantly, every day—regularly. What will the plant do in that case? Correct, it will make up for what it missed, produce fruits or seeds for reproduction and growth.
The image of the plant can be overlaid onto the crypto market, which has been in decline for a long time. All the participants, if they can be called that, have left or been washed out, liquidated. Sold portfolios at a loss, entered futures to recover losses, and were liquidated there too. Only those who simply sit in their positions and don’t move at all have won, if that can be called winning. Whether we will win or not, I don’t know. But I have already gone through the stage of acceptance, as have many of you. What will happen in the future, I also don’t know. But based on logic and on the hobby of capitalists selling air, the crypto market is perfectly suited.
Let’s keep observing the market behavior and those who influence it. By the way, on May 14, there is a meeting regarding the Clarity Act. But I think we won’t get anything meaningful. However, anything is possible.
