Koreans are no longer trading cryptocurrencies; they are now investing in stocks.

The crypto assets held by Korean investors decreased from $83.3 billion at the end of January 2025 to $41.4 billion at the end of February 2026; the daily trading volume on the five major exchanges dropped from $11.6 billion in December 2024 to $3 billion in February 2026.
Many people claim that the crypto bull market is returning, but even in Korea's gambler-like market, money is shifting to stocks.
