I used to think that wealthy people are:

Want to buy whatever they want, never look at price tags.
Driving luxury cars when going out, dining at Michelin restaurants,
Clothes and bags are all limited editions.

Until today I saw a sentence:
“What is a rich person?”
“A person who doesn’t spend money.”

Suddenly I understood.

Neighbor Uncle Wang, worth tens of millions,
Rides a bicycle to buy groceries every day,
Wears an old shirt worth dozens of yuan,
Wears the same watch for over ten years.
Everyone says he’s “stingy.”

Until last year, when his son got married,
He bought two houses outright,
And donated 1 million yuan to repair roads in his hometown.

Office Xiao Zhang, with a monthly salary of 20,000,
Must be the first to get the latest phone,
Has afternoon tea every day with different flavors,
On weekends, either at trendy cafes or on the way there.
At the end of the year, looking at his savings: zero.

Who is wealthier?
It’s obvious at a glance.

Money is an interesting thing,
Spending it is called “consumption,”
Keeping it is called “wealth.”

People who don’t spend money when they have it,
Are not unwilling to spend,
They just know what money should be spent on and what shouldn’t.

They understand:
True wealth is not how much you own,
But being able to produce it whenever needed.

Just like my grandma often says:
“Having grain in hand, no worries in the heart.”

Money is a hero’s courage,
And also a sense of security.

Those who “have money but don’t spend it,”
Are not stingy,
They are prepared for the future,
And responsible for their family.

Instead of envying those “fake rich people” who spend money like water,
It’s better to learn from those “real rich people” who quietly accumulate wealth.

Spend money on what matters,
Keep the sense of security in your pocket.

After all,
The money you don’t spend today
Is the confidence to say “no” tomorrow.

What do you think? 🤔
