Let's talk a bit about what can't be posted on Xianyu. Below are the items I've had forcibly taken down and deleted by the platform after I posted them.

1. Cigarettes, not even allowed to post just the packaging box.
2. Electronic cigarettes, even if the description doesn't mention e-cigarettes, it's not allowed; as long as there's an image of it, it's not allowed. Not showing the brand doesn't help either. (I don't know how the platform recognizes this.)
3. Lighters, I posted a brand new, genuine ZIPPO lighter, and it was not allowed. (But I see others can post them, which is strange.)
4. Renminbi, not allowed. I posted RMB that are no longer in circulation, and they were not allowed. (Others can post them, but mine get deleted.)
5. Some items related to religion are not allowed; not all are deleted, but for example, just saying the words "Heart Sutra" is not allowed.
6. Luxury brand packaging boxes or gift bags are not allowed; I have had them deleted several times.
