Just finished watching this, and it feels like my worldview has been refreshed... 🤯
Turns out AI Agents also need to "sleep and dream"! And it's not for rest, but to organize memory and prevent "senile dementia."
The video compares three schools of thought, very interesting:
1️⃣ Anthropic (Claude): Recently released, quite frugal, dreams only organize directories, do not store specific content, mainly saving money.
2️⃣ Hermes (Open source): Actually came out 3 months earlier than Claude! Focuses on utility, writes operation manuals after finishing tasks, so you can copy the work next time.
3️⃣ OpenClaw (Open source): The most human-like, directly simulates the human "forgetting curve," dreams promptly at 4 a.m. every day, turning short-term memory into long-term memory.
I used to think AI was strong because of large models and many parameters, but now I realize, "getting a good sleep" might be the key to becoming stronger. 😴
This video explains it very thoroughly, I recommend friends interested in Agent memory mechanisms to watch! 👇
