Tesla has announced that its first Semi truck has rolled off the high-volume production line at Gigafactory Nevada, marking a significant milestone after its initial unveiling in 2017. The electric truck, boasting a 500-mile range model costing $300,000 and a 300-mile range version at $260,000, is now entering operational pilots with companies like MDB Transportation for last-mile container moves. Additionally, infrastructure for the Semi is expanding, with Pilot Travel Centers partnering to install Megachargers at truck stops across major interstates, and Tesla actively recruiting talent to support commercial operations and manufacturing in Texas.
