Lately I've been interacting with airdrops again. Honestly, seeing others' screenshots of "winning another prize" still makes me a bit envious... But as much as I envy, I'm more afraid of being reverse-rolled: spending a bunch of gas, signing a bunch of inexplicable authorizations, and ending up with nothing gained and a trail of leftovers.

My approach is pretty simple: only use applications I truly need, even if less frequently; before each interaction, check on-chain if there are real users active, don’t rely solely on scripts; revoke permissions after use, keep wallets separate, and don’t touch new projects with your main wallet. Layer 2 now is noisier than TPS, fees, and subsidies; I care more about "whether there’s continuous fund inflow + activity." Strong consistency makes me more willing to take a step further. FOMO, if you can endure it, won’t kill you.
